There is so much to see on our planet before I die!!!!!

I have been a keen independent traveller all my life, which is a habit developed in my childhood. During which time I must have lived in at least half a dozen different countries by the age of ten.

The thrill of hopping onto a plane, having checked in the back pack, not knowing what awaits you in a strange country is like no other in my opinion.

On this page I hope to share some of the wonderful places I have visited and will visit in the future.

I am also hoping to get involved in travel writing in the future, starting with some of the slideshows I already have in the bank.

  • Veneto:  (Venice)  It never ceases to amaze me how we English feel entitled to change the names of foreign places. Veneto is the Italian spelling and that is the one I use. This slideshow attempts to show some of the atmosphere of one of our most famous cities.
  • Budapest :  A fascinating Hungarian city.
  • Jungfrau Massive: Switzerland. Boast three massive peaks The Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. (Ogre, Nun and Virgin)
  • Sauze D'oulx : Italy: A fantastic place to ski, with a large connected skiing area.
